Loudspeaker Durability Testing
  • Introduction


  • This measurement equipment is used in testing the reliability of micro speaker.
    A built-in source noise signal is a digital one, with high repeat stability. The measuring voltage is set automatically. The measurement results are recorded a computer in real time. It guarantees easy analysis of speaker capacity, as all the measurement data (RMSV, CURRENT, W) are recorded in it.
    The built-in Sine Wave Generator can output a sweep sine and a single sine wave and measure speaker fo.
    Built-in speaker's voice coil temperature measurement module enables voice coil temperature measurement during reliability test. (OPTION-01)


  • Special Feature


  • 1. Speaker power monitor SP-6010 allows you to control all functions in the Window environment by connecting with a PC. It also displays measurement results and saves the result as a file.
    2. As the reference signals are used for setting voltage, it is very swift and accurate.
    3. It has high expandability and stability as a compact flash memory card is adopted to store various signal sources.
    4. The upper and lower limit in detecting current is automatically set in proportion to the voltage given once the percentage value is keyed in.
    5. By increasing the voltage periodically until the speaker is destructed, you can test the max. voltage and record it.
    6. the measurement data are read by PC for back-up at every 10 seconds interval.
    7. The data collected and recorded 2 minutes before occurrence of Fail/Stop/End has 1 seconds collecting and recording interval.
    8. If the power is reconnected after the power failure in the middle of measurement, the measurement continues the process from the moment of power failure.
    9. Built-in Sine Wave Generator for each channel, 20Hz ~ 40KHz sweep and single frequency output are possible. (X-Max condition can be set)
    10. With the SPEAKER Fo measurement function, the Fo of the speaker is measured before the reliability test is cast, and the Fo is automatically recorded after the test ends.
    11. The channel with built-in temperature measurement module (OPTION-01) can measure the temperature of the voice coil during the reliability test. (T-Max condition can be set)
    12. If the temperature / humidity recorder (OPTION-02) is attached, the internal temperature and humidity of the measurement room can be measured and recorded in real time.
    13. The cycle test function allows continuous ON / OFF testing for a long time, and the output voltage can be set to a different voltage for each cycle.
    14. CF Memory Card is located on the front panel and is very easy to replace.
    15. When a Fail occurs during measurement, the Fail-Message screen displays the Fail occurrence time and the expected cause and saves it as Raw Data.

Voice Coil Temperature Measuring
    Temperature measurement of speaker voice coil cannot be done using contact or non-contact type thermometer structurally.
    Voice Coil temperature measuring method is illustrated in CEA-426-B standard, and Voice Temperature Monitor (VCTM) meets CEA-426-B standard.
    Temperature Monitor (VCTM) products are able to record, store and output input voltage and coil temperature of speaker unit in PC.
    Fast and accurate setting can be made since all the settings are done automatically in PC.

Loudspeaker Test Oscillator
    Drive the speaker as s sine wave at audible frequency band (20 ~20000Hz) In order for the person to listen and determine playback sound of speaker.
    Clearer sound can be made at speaker as THD (Total Harmonics Distortion) of Oscillator which generates sine wave becomes lower.
    Therefore, you can determine sound quality of speaker when you use oscillator having low THD.
    Loudspeaker Test Oscillator products are the latest models of the products which have been used for a long time with low THD and high reliability.
    You can operate it easily and simply due to digital type setting environment.
